Fish - Ginger with coke and orange peel!

OMG - was watching this chinese food show with the ah jit chef showed a a dish using coke, ginger, orange peel, scallots to cook the fish. I wonder if i will try it one day. LOL~

You can have a look at what people use coke for. I am merely interested in the use of baking cake and chicken - pork is a little too much this time :)

Sweet treats for my treat

It has been a super long time since my last post. I have not been blogging as time did not permit any of these online rants. Right now I am hooked on interesting useful thoughts which I hope will be of use in the future.

1) using frozen jelly/pudding plus milk, all into the blender, one can make ice cream
2) using udon noodles + flour + powdered sugar = donuts. Mix all together and take 7 noodles out, hold it by the ends and twist it. Pressed it on the ends to make a circle. Deep fry it and u will have your donuts.

I am so gonna try it one day.

Mr. Lee came along and asked us about the English training. Learnt that we should explore more options in the areas of comprehension - and the usage of literature text as the the passage due to it's nature being narrative and first person context, though the problem will be setting of the questions for the particular passage.

Yesterday was interesting as i covered the P1 music lessons. They had speech and drama classes, allowing the children to explore their vocal cords and expression - using their body, face and voice. The game "Simon says" will only work for P1 & P2 at max as the older they grow, children will grow bored of such a game, although using such a game will increase the interest of children whereby they learn skills like: "Simon says- walk with a grouchy expression" and kids will do a frustrated + angry look.

The day has not ended but yet i feel that my time is coming to a close and i hope that i will learn much more. Hopefully i will be able to get their teaching plans so that i will know what will be in-store for me when my praticum comes in the near future.

In need to perfect the Cha-Cha dance for Edgefield Dance Day this weekend (17th July). So many things to do yet i am still in Holiday mood- SIANZ...

Teaching - A role model for the future of singapore

As my teaching stint comes to an end @ Edgefield primary, i can't help but feel alittle sad, and lost. I am not sure if this is the right choice but i do believe that i can touch lives and help those who need my help -even though i know that my efforts may seem futile to those who do not welcome it.

2 more weeks and i will be entering NIE. Hopefully i will be able to secure a hall with MC and everything will turn out fine the next year. Busy busy year.

SHAW's Premiere: the NEX experience

This post was supposed to be uploaded last week but i was much to busy. Well Here goes!

I received and invitation to Shaw NEX for a movie screening "RABBIT HOLE" by Nicole Kidman. What caught me off guard was the tickets i received. It was Sliver! (i hoped it was GOLD though.. LOL~)

Still thinking that it was a normal theater, i headed to the upstairs and the person directed me to a special premiere lounge where we were ushered to our seats.

I loomed with anticipation as we troded down to cool looking place with big Brown chairs beconing me to "join them, to the dark side". It was cosy and had a feeling of HOME.

As there was a promotion for all food and drinks, we decided to get some snacks and drinks ( a 20% off!) Dear tried the Call service button and we were served like IMMEDIATELY! almost like the waiter was just waiting for us right behind. I started to take count as i was prety bored as the waiter repeated our orders. All seems dark and silent as we waited for trailers (which there waws none) to start. Took a candid shot when all was dark with FLASH! *Kids, dun try this EYE - WIDE - OPEN.*

As we are in into the 1st few minutes of the show, the nachos came!

I was pretty surprised that they had the above average standard as usually movies are only given cheese, not sour cream, avacado and salsa. Absolutely heaven, with the exception that a CRUDE weird stuck out awkwardly through for a whole 10 min of the show. It was only when our drink came that they rectified the problem. Such a mood spoiler but at elast i got to see my nachos and my mixed fruit drink.

As we were into three quarters of the show, the tiramisu was served. GREEN TEA! Weird but interesting. Gota try it with the berries and white chocolate. Hmm hmm.. very weird but interesting.

As for the show - nothing much should be said. Nicole Kidman being the actress and the director really brought out the show. Catch it @ premiere for a better experience - under the warmth of a Premiere Blanket. :)

Time for a New Start At a differnt Direction -

I need a new job soon - cause i am so getting bored out of this one. Not that this job is not good or anything, but i am too comforatble in it.

I have been so busy (as usual) that people who see me are really amazing as they caught me perfectly - what have i been up to?

Hugging iNETS stations and bidding for stuff of the interent. LOL~

I may look stupid to you, but the vouchers that came with that pic was very much worth it. Just ask Desiree who took this wonderful picture for me :)

She went home with a $5 NTUC Voucher courtesy of me (from NETS of course). I won $50 worth of Crystal Jade, RObinson etc vouchers so it's a little token of appreciation.

As for the camera - i got a new hobby to fill in the hours of the day when i couldn't get to sleep. BIDDING! the camera and 32GB SD card i paid in total less than $100. Since i have been sleepless during the days (sometimes only an hour only), this was a good site to hang. PS: Mooky & Tai, this is plausible. LOL~ Next item up for grabs - IPAD (16GB WIFI+3G)! which an ass bought it for only $176.40 SGD. WTF ---

NExt up - INDOCHINE @ Wisma. A place where great food and Great music + Good Drinks Fuse together. I always walked pass the palce where live music is being played on weekends but this is a first, being watched and gawked @ by passer-by stopping to listen to the melahonic voice crooned by the singer. We almost did left the place as the waiters thought we were drunkards - giving us the Drinks menu in the early evening @ 6pm. If not for the persistence of my friends, my pocket would not have burnt a hole. haha.

FISH - CHICKEN - SEAFOOD. I love salmon but not so much the ginger sauce that went with it. It was too much indonesian for me as i prefer my salmon the Westernized way - poached and grilled slightly on the sides esp on the skin. Ginger ain't my thing.

Next food Pick~ KIM GARY (Johore; City Square)

I just went there yesterday straight after work as my younger bro had to buy stuff from JB and he only went there once, thus i had to bring him to prevent him from being decapicated and left to beg on the streets limb-less as he depicted. LMAO. Wadever the case, it was an adventure to me to, as we took the wrong bus to the smaller Jusco which wasn't that small, except there wasn;t any movie theater. We played Time-Crisis 3 at $50cents and Daytona which i was totally OWNED. Try a real 4W and we shall see! :P

and to follow up - i have been "Invited" (yes - free tickets people -_- ) for the national day parade and the YOG Opening ceremony.

Although there have been many reviews that said the NDP was better - i personally LOVED YOG more than NDP (other than the fact that i was being dragged to NDP, and drenched) The Fireworks and cheorography done was much more impressive than our NDP. Thumbs up to YOG!

And not to forget the lovely premiere to movies - artsy kinds to the awesome "everybody wanna watch" kind. An recent example would be Au Revoir Tapei - a movie which i caught this week (FREE) which has a nice story line and not much drama mama factor in it. Suitable for couples and NO GAYS please.. :P

After the movie, i brought dear dear to Orche for Supper.

OChre is a modern Italian restaurant in Orchard Central helmed by Chef Kentaro, whose culinary experience is from Lombardy. The risottos there are reputed to be among the best in the world. The price for the wonderful artsy patsy meal was as follows:

Cauliflower Soup: $10 (split to 2 bowls)

Total: $ 65.25 (with 7% GST)

and of course, with my reputation as the VOUCHIE man, i brought along a $50 voucher from Kitchen language which i got from August man from their COntest.

The dining experince was a fullfilling one (both mentally and physically) which their vast array of wine collection - i would hope to bring my engineer friends to these classy places to UPZ their standard and teach them the art of fine dining of course. :)

The open kitchen concept was great too, with the exception of a hungry lady holding the bread blocking the full kitchen view. LOL~

and finally - (Oh Yeah~ Oh Yeah~ Oh YEah~ oh!!!)

Attended the Badminton Finals yesterday. (FREE) Tickets priced @ $30 each. Live games are really much better. If only i had seated near the entrance, then probably i would have a new racket. LOL~

My seat was great too - i saw Low Wei Sheng(MAS) and Kang Ji Wook (KOR).

It was pretty sad for malaysia as he had an injury, otherwise i am it would be a good fight as M'sia are always known for their shuttlers.

Nokia X6 has the X-factor!

Great news people!!

Nokia has a new phone! the X6-00, a Superb music phone which allows rides on the the buses and MRT enjoyable. Crowded trains just don't cut it anymore with this phone.

Just like the latest and upcoming phones in the market - the touch screen feature is a norm, with the exception of that it is much cooler and the choice of using the normal num pad keypad or a keyboard, just by rotating it 180 degress. How cool is that?

This awesome phone also incorporated FACEBOOK (which everyone is so on it) thus allowing us to like update "What's on your mind?" anytime anyday you want. Best of all - irritate people by twitter-ing (another cool feature) or facebook-ing every minute so that all your friends will see is your name and post.. LOL.. Or u can just every other post u see. :)

And the last app worth mentioning (to me :X) is SKYPE. i often use SKYPE on my computer to have a chat with my relatives overseas and it would be super cool not to be bounded on my desktop just to have a conversation.

Other than the normal social apps, there are 2 major things that i hold close to my heart - MUSIC and CAMERA ~ and to support my LOVE, it has an 32GB storage on the phone itself!! Wait - wait - it gets even better...

For a music lover like me, the idea of a headphone with a PHONE - is just the next fashion statement.

What's more is that the Nokia music Store has so many songs for you to choose and download to your phone and sort all those groovy tunes by creating your own playlist!
My favourite would be FM Radio, which is a lost feature for the latest phones in the market (although how could we every get bored from listening to the tons of music from the STORE??).
Still i could participate on radio show contest ya know.. keke..

Last but not least - the CAMERA~

It is a 5 Megapixel with Carl Zeiss optics, Autofocus, Dual LED flash, Video light, Geo-tagging and Secondary VGA video call camera.

With these features, my food bloging would be a breeze - great photos, great food. What more can one ask for?

To end, i would like to emphasie the slickness of the phone, lightweight, wide screen(3.2") with 20 "ALWAYS CALL" friends on homescreen - this is an ideal phone for people who takes long trips and loves music. did i mention? the battery life is about Up to 8 h 30 min if u just "Happy Talk" on the phone the whole day!

What are you waiting for - get it a NOKIA store near you. I personally think this is much better than the iPhone 4.

BIRTHDAY FOOD for the WICKED (FAT) Soul

It's the time of the month where there are many borthdays going on. My regret is probably not being able to celebrate Weihong's Bdae :(

To start - from the latest - MOOKY!!!

PRELUDE: SHopping for mooky's present~0

Dragging my tried and lifeless body out on a saturday is a super chore for me and it drained my soul completely. Nevertheless, i still had to do it as it was my best BUD we are talking about. Dear wanted to come along too so it was a shopping trip for 3 of us - Joyce, tai and me. We actually decided on getting a wathc but rejected that idea as we don;t really know which design he prefered. I always emphasised that for presents, we must like it first, so that in any case the BDAE Boi/Gal ain't able to wear it, you got a new GIFT! LOL ~

Polo was a great idea, if only it was not too tight fit - Not that we are trying to ask him lose his body structure, but he looks good in tight fitting shirt - Not sloppy with those really expandables shirt on the sides.
I suggested the Walkman MP3 wireless which was sad that he DOesn't jog with Music! ( which i did noe!! FAILURE + LOSER -- zzzz :'[ )

and of course a cute lolipop (which he definetly wun eat.. hehe ) and a roll on for his super baggy eye due to work stress. HOPE YOU LIKE YOUR PRESENTS and USE them (have u used your lubricant or not.. LMAO)

Well here is the dinner (super late) we had - DING TAI FUNG.. NCIE~ Excellente~

And for his Bdae Dinner - we finnaly got to see Fiona and her BF (i tot he was imaginary) @ SUnset Grill and once again, my soul and body went limp - upon trying Level 30 Buffalo wings courtesy of the people at the next table. Thanks for letting me have an OOBE (Out of body experience) & Death-ti-fying experience.

After that STUN - we ate our level 4 chicken and it tasted -- SWEET - really.. Sweet. -_-
There goes my stomach and tastebud.

Shitting was a firey experience the next few days too. DETOX sia..

I would recommend the beers Erdinger (light) and the salads ( both ceasers and Waldof) which are good together with the wings. and of course the Button mushrooms which were sold out. Main course wasn't much but then again, i did not eat COW (Beef) .. MOOO~~~

Next Up: DInner with My Younger Bro!!

I know he has been SUPAR Stressed out recently due to Army stuff and the KUKU NDP pradade prep so i try my best not to disturb him (unlike my tupid KOR KOR who always call him do stuff) and my parents who always trying to nag whenever possible.

If u need me, i am here (with the exception when i am asleep, cause if i am in wonderland and u wake me up - YOU DIE. Regardless family or NOT) Sleep has just moved to No.1 spot then Food. Occupational requirement :)

The dorayaki ( can;t remember if it is spelt this way) was nice~ ice cream pancake but not too heavy.. Yum Yum.. i am starting to get hooked on ice-cream probably due to dear. -.- FATTENING~~~~

And to end this Post - MUMMY's Birthday! Hmm.. for all 3 occasions, Dear was with me! She must be so free sia - Work + Study + Tution + Meet friends --> still got time for me? LOL -- She took her off (as she accumalated quite a bit from wokring on Weekends (Duh!~ like often!!)

and we brought my mama to Tampines 1 for Tea-break [forget the name of the dim sum palce] ( as i slept for like 4-5 hours? Told ya i need to sleep) and of course treated her to a nice massage @ Beyond Beauty with compliements from our package (which dear wanted!! and I am Still paying - and paying - zzz)

Then we got a cake for her birthday - downgraded to a slice but super ex and super nice - taste is not creamy or fattening at ALL!! From B1 - YAMAZAKI

Order the cream puff too as it was what my mother wanted. But the cake was awesome too. I highly recommend this place/cake for people who haven't tried it before. We brought the cakes to IKEA and have free drinks ( we are members) and mum chatted with her friend while dear and I walked ard and checked out the furnitures + designs for our new house ( in the future- :])

That's all the updates i have for now. I need a super phone which can upload pics and blog fast. My LG is giving problems as blue-toothing is really a hassle .. zzzz

HAppy NAtional Day Singapore!!! Well i carried 6 TOTE bags with no discount cupons (cause it was free??? zzz - or maybe kenna kapo by those people who pack the bags/give out the bags) and i only enjoyed KIT CHAN and the fly past + the showcase of the military poweress - It rained so it sucked. BIG TIME. GOt 4 tickets to the actual thingy but definetly not going. Seen it once - seen it all. Rather do a short getaway! :)

The Sorcerer’s Apprentice!!

Yippee!!! Nicolas Cage is coming back with a new Disney ShoW - The Sorcerer's Apprentice! I am a true sucker for magic and adventure movies especially where it is set in mordern day city.

If right now i was the sorcerer's apprentice, i would defintely use my powers and harness the elements to help people and the world. With global warming and all the natural disaster around the world, i could easily stop tsunami, earthquakes, floods with a wave of my hand, and even stop forest fires but by snapping my fingers.

I could control the storm clouds and provide water to areas which are dry from drought and torch autocratic rulers and enemies to ashes.

And of course, i would be flying free to countries without having to use my passport or frequent flyer miles anymore. :)

But battling a dragon (and surviving) will be a totally awsome experience too!

I am so pschyed up for this show - Just watch the trailer and ya know what i mean

The car is totally fantastic - just like knight rider with "MUTE" enabled. LOL

Karate Kid (awesome), & more food

The Karate Kid!! Awesome Movie - Great Sound track with JB (JUSTIN BIEBER) & JS (JADEN SMITH)- Never say Never!

Caught the show today @ Suntec with compliments from SAFRA. Was super glad that the seats were good and show was fantastic. You could feel the expectation from Will smith for his son in the movie - it was up to my expectations. Jackie Chan, a seasoned actor in both the Chinawood and Hollywood, he was ideal as the Mr. Miyagi - or now known as Mr. Han.

If you like strings that thug your heart and movies that have a gradual climb, this is the show for you! Probably i just like karate kid.

After the show, we headed to Ichiban for our dinner. We had our favorite Salmon for dinner! Was hungry and we were sitting outside thus i just took some pictures and started to heal my growling stomach.

Combo meal of Unagi and Salmon. We added avocado salmon, potato croquette and cha soba which dear added wasabi which had a pretty good flavor!

Next up was with my student Edwin, we had fish and CO@ Novena after his work and he is growing up to a fine adult - kiddish but has a pure heart. nothing more i can teach i suppose. We had a great time ogling at sporty babes at the sportathon event. LOL.

We had seafood platter for 1 plus an upgrade - which was too much. DAO PAO home for my family. :)

Next up: Suntec City's I'll DO Cafe (I think - but @ b1 lor)
We just finished a movie at eng wah suntec as we had free movie vouchers. decided to catch Furry Vengeance ( SUPAR LAME SHOW - not even worth to twitch my muscle) as all the movies available we have already watched it even though most just started.. LOL

We went for lunch after the morning movie-
Currently there is a SAFRA 1 for 1 promotion so if you want affordable restaurant food, you can try this place

And of course - desserts, to end the meal @ SWENSEN as i had 1 for 1 coupons.

Happy dear with frosted chocolate balls. Happy cloud 9 gal. hahaha..

LAstly - was a lunch out with 2 pretty gals - JUNE BABIES celebrations. We had Lebanese crusine - vegetarian style so it was an eye opening experience. But i am surprised - Gals have big appetites! LOL (PS: place is located URBAN BITES @ 123 Telor Ayer street)

We ordered all the bread. 4 different kinds of bread (all 4 actually). Dun try this people unless u have 8 people eating with you or just Michelle and Desiree. LOL

We had a fafela and some specially created dish which the chef made as michelle was pure vegetarian. IT WAS GOOD!

and lst of all - CREPES! CHRISTINA!! (not my manager's boss) but the name of this crepe (not creep ok.. zzzz -.-) Banana + CHOCOLATE!! I was like MAXI full but still managed to golf down this sweetie, no wonder i feel i have gained all the extra pounds.

Anyways, i have tried signing up for gym near my workplace. Hope that works! :)

Duck rice. Ever seen a person recommend a good chicken rice stall, walk up to that particular stall, and order DUCK RICE? I really had a laugh. I thank you for providing a listening ear every now and then to calm my soul and give me a direction to look to. You may not know it but you too stand on the same ranks as ah tai and mooky. You know who you are. Thanks brother. :) for breakfast, lunch and a good laugh- & of course bubble tea. I wish you all the best in whatever you do- except that exercise which i know you are already skilled at! LMAO.

Argh!!! My diet has gone to waste due to a recent ranting seesion with our bi-monthly meal outing. It's interesting as there are so much feelings bottled up and we all had to say it all out. Just within the last 5 months or so we have all become so bitter.

I really wonder if there are any happy things left worth looking forward to.

I should really start using the word "we" before people starting thinking i tendto push my thoughts. I need to keep a low profile. Only offer my ideas when needed.

Humble - is something that i should really try to in-corporate in my life.

Had a dream about the past when i had to do a project with jimmy and vinson, where i just left everything and left cause i was treated unfairly. I always think that we should be rewarded with what effort we put in, but that does not work in reality. I probably could just walk out of this mudane life and try another job - the option is always open. I too need to lean to be like melvin and keep all the opinons to myself. bitching is notreally an option. i could even hear myself - WTF, arrogant and proud F**Ker.

i need to just keep doing and leave everything alone - be like melvin and keep my trap shut, as being with people really brings out the worse in me. and probably only ah tai and mooky can stand my nonsense.

I think right now i really need to increase my pressure and TAKE IT IN!!! as in do more, complain less. Bitch less. If posible. I need to remind myself. This is so going on my white board.

Enough talk - it's time for the costly buffet food: though i would give a rating of only 2.5 stars. It was a total disappointment and the only great stuff i would recommend is probably the cheese, oysters and sashimi. Nothing else is worth mentioning. So sad.

Drunken Prawn - one of the specialty of Azur, soup was sad. Pu Tien's is much better.

The sashimi and Soba - can't remember if i ate my tamago - hmm..

Sashimi - Salmon; swordfish and Tuna.

Cold dishes Oyster, prawns and crayfish.

After that i did not collect any more food as Jun hao came and it was a hassle walking up and down thus i stopped eating. It was boring anyway. nothing worth my attention.

Next up: Breakfast @ killiney Road.

Wen to cathay for a movie in the morning with Dear and since we arrived early, we decided to have breakfast at this place - House of Rice & Porridge. I would give a 4 star rating.

I usually do not eat porridge or chee cheong fun as i only prefer malaysia cooked as it is superb. I was taken aback how good and smooth the chee cheong fun was and the porridge was smooth and flavour was full. Highly recommended.

Mum's specially Lor Mai Fun - Totally loved it :)

To end: I shall put up my favourite show i will be anticipating - The last Airbender!!

Sleepy afternoons

If i had the dagger that turns back time, I will defintely go back in time and save 2 persons, my teacher and an distant cousin, both who was involved in a hit-and-run incident. My teacher was on the way home when he was hit by a drunk driver at the zebra crossing. If i could turn back time and stop him from crossing the road at that point, i am sure my life would be very different from now. It would be the same case for my cousin, who was hit by a lorry on the expressway when he was riding his motorcycle to work. *SIGH*.. :'(

But i am sure that with such power, one will have to give up something equally precious in order to flow through the sands of time.

Yesh!! Twice in a week! Can ya imagine!

Well it seems that i have time on my hands so i am going to blog once again -

so gonna look forward to 2molo when Nick becomes the 2nd in charge. Seems yesterday when i was in control - but it comes with great resposibilities -- and if u fall, it will be great to. So i choose to forgo this and be good at what i do.

Bitching aside - let's have a look at food:

Those who has my facebook probably already knows this - There is an 1-for-1 offer for breakfast @ coffee bean (24 hours outlets only) and those who say " ALL FISH ARE FRIENDS" - go for the salmon with *wadever, cause it is awesome-- free refills too! Only valid on Mon-Fri, 12am to 5am.

Just having this kind of food really perks me up on gloomy days.

I have done it - 8 sessions of IPT training everyday week before work and after work on sat really sucked - but the reward is great. Thanks to Jimmy for chioing (& pang -sei-ing :P) me. would never have passed this lifetime anyway - unless i go slimming center.

To congratulate myself - let's start with something sweet - a dessert which i had thanks to Da ge who brought us to this pizza outlet @ jalan Kayu which was a tid too sweet for my liking. Still - the pizza are really awesome. :)

Next up would be my 1st yr anniversary pictures. NOthing much as i had to work on that day and almost died as i worked on the previous night too - All i have to offer is my time and energy. Nothing is much more valuable than that i suppose, given the fact that i care no of this bloody world and evil beings who constanly act stupid and disgust me to the bone.

WADEVER - Food... @ a Jap restaurant in 313 which was totally SAD. Black pork not avaliable in SG? i think the waitress really need to do more research. Clarke Quay's Ma masion Tasted 100 times better than this. Okay - maybe 10 times but the service here really made me feel welcome, though i am a FOODIE - thus the rest are secondary and food should be the piority.

Sashimi could be better. SAD :"(

Caught the Jap show Nodame which had a sequal. Loved the scenes where the guy K.O. Nadome for being a nuisance. LOL. treated her like a rag doll and swang her everywhere. WWE style. LMAO. Dun think gonna catch part II though. Depends on dear lor. :)

Taking a break from the food - Guess wat? i won some products just for dear. Her early BDAE present. from inuovi which cost 100++ women stuff are so expensive. zzz

Next up: SUPPER @ Swensens T2.

Went to CHangi airport for some food. Was lost and didn't want to haf kopitiam again thus we headed to Swensens for some food. Too much too handle. zzz The banana Crumble~ and the salmon & mushroom baked rice. Which i truly enjoyed the baked rice more as i am not a fan of sweets - even chocolates i love the bitter kind.

NExt: FISH & CO!! ($1 special)

Yes. the fish u are looking at cost cheaper than the salad. This is the reason why our parents always advises us to haf fish instead. LOL. Due to the recent Earth Hour promotion, FISH & CO had this $1 Fish & Chip offer which was to die for. Despite the reviews where people said that their fish was smaller or crappy - i find the flagship outlet at Park Mall really good. Service and everything. And the Fish was huge! the bill stated $0.85. so i was a happie Foodie. whole meal cost $12. YEs. My freaking Salad cost $11 bucks. Forgo Vege! hehehe.. All FISH ARE FRIENDS. :)

And lastly for the wrapping up -

Mahattan Fish Market.

I was quite sad. Well the way they cooked the fish was different but i still prefered the FISH & CHIPS from Fish & CO as they tasted much better. $1? Not really the reason as i had a 1 for 1 offer for the flamming platter at mahanttan. :) But i was taken aback by the prawns. It was succelent and the white sauce - ( sweet and not overpowering) gel in nicely with the butter rice. The chips were a littel too much for me. The prawns when charred by the manager seemed to come alive dancing of my platter. It was SAD that there was a burning smell in the restaurant probably due to the in-experienced waiter/ress who served the other tables. Eating with burnt smell really TURNS ME OFF big time. It is SAD as Food is totally crapped up after being CHARCOALED.

After the meal, we headed back to the hotel ( Yes people - the BA-Gua Shaped Hotel u see on the AYE - Ritz Carlton; and yes it is free :P Dage won it in a contest) and i really never regret going there ( although i wanted to stay home as my whole body was aching due to IPPT in the morning). It was wonderful - the view was to die for. The gym swimming pool, service with towels and everything - If i had the cash i would just stay there once a week. Should haf taken pictures of the breakfast but couldn't do so. Even the Easter chocolate egg was huge!

Well just enjoy these pics for now. Bask in the knowledge that opportunities must be grabbed and acheived but oneself. Waiting for durians to drop ain't gonna cut it.

WON - DAI - FUL ... (aweeeeeee. ...)

I am so looking forward to a holiday with dear - a short break away from everything. Hopefully i dun scold her so much haha.. been spastic and on the edge recently. PMS sia.. zzzz

Ending with a food as usual: SPECIAL THANKS to des for flying in the egg tarts ( to die for!!) and CHar siew saw which still smelt heavenly. Actaualy postponed my HK trip due to insufficent funds but you have spured my tastebuds to lead the way, and i ahve decided to let my stomach do the ruling. i will have noodles, dim sum and everything!! and sure to rememeber ya :)

Just met with my supervisor - really really interesting/ the things that i was taught when i first entered the company all seems turned upside down. Orders pedning we need not do, once it reaches 8am - GO HOME!!! DUN CARE.. she said. If you do, your DAI CHI. but not company or her problem cause never ask us OT. XIN GAN QING YUAN. -_-

Ok. Fine. SO value added is not appreciated? Noted. I only will do/help my friends. Once i regard u friend no more, you are another non-exsistance in my life. Something i can do without.

Point to note: It really hurts more when u are STABBED by a friend who wants to climb high. So doing anymore is really pointless. I should just concentrate on increasing my knowledge and giving them to people who deserve it. Less e-mailling will do wonders. but i still need to update my own tracker just for my demential strikes in. LOL

If Des was here she would probably have some comments to make me feel a little better - worth working. But right now i shall aim to be a SUPER USER. Help has become something that will not be given even f asked. I shall do for ou. Learn it yourself. Since everybody in my shift is sellfish and care for themselves and their selves. Unity is NIL. even my single hope is gone. Probably i should think of going morning shift. It would make my life better, although i really hate meetings. LOL..

~SMART had one good idea - and that was STUPID~

What a way to start my blog - this was a philosphy which i should take note close to my heart this year - good words and thought often goes the wrong way to people who think too much and bear grudges to the people around. I am of the same kind thus i understand this feling of emotion - one that makes me shudder in fear when i am irritated and frustrated that the person on the receiving end does not know or understand what i am trying to say.

In the year of the TIGER, the RAT should really MMOB (aka Mind MY own Business). I just commented on facbook of my collegue (whom i really respect and treat like a godmum) that she shouldn't waste money on buying a gadget which is she not familar with especially since she is not a techie, yet she says that i am lecturing her? -_- *sighs

Wanted to tell her about my thoughts of what to do with my money but Jun hao adviced that it is her money and i have no right to interfere, probably i really should care not about others and just leave my life as it is - MY WAY (sounds like Mark Lee's compnay in the show: Being Human)
If she happens to stumble on this blog - i would really ask her to get some computer games related to maths and probably sign her son up for abacus. While sleeping, i dreamt and remembered that her son really has the heart and soul for things if he enjoys doing it. and he is a person that remembers through the body - not the brain.

Whatever it is, i am in no position to teach other people kids as i have no kids and they are not my children. I really should just MMOB so as not to get so broken hearted when i am mis-understood.

It is probably a wonderful thing that now my dear has almost reach a perfect understanding of me - nearly 75% i should say. Our anniversary is coming up - and i hope that she will enjoy what little time i have to spend with her on this day.

As we age continuously each year, the objectives and things i want in life seem dimmer - some sort of a far away island where i could never reach. I am glad that Dear does all the planning and stuff and i know that she is frustrated at work - Wonder if she can Outwit, Outplay & Outlast and be an amazing Survivor in reality.

At the end of the day - i really hope that you enjoy what you do. If a job bring you down, just forget about it. It is not like we've got mouths to feed if you know what i mean.

Right before i end my bitching on life - i just wanted to thank fiona for helping me out this last month or so - the recepits are really helpful and i pray that you will be able to have a happy life - as being selfless is a trait that u haf for others, once u let them in.

Time Goes By – Last Day of Chinese New Year

It has been a while since i blogged.. Things happened but i has only brought me closer to Dear – well as long as she understands what i am thinking and not step on any landmines we will be fine. LOL

I was really really SAD on the 17th – the day when i went to work early. I thought i was a very punctual person but sadly, i am still too COMFORATABLE with the people i am close to – I missed sending Deming off at the airport by a little. Well i didn’t want him to miss the flight so i said goodbye on the phone – which i really really regretted. Damn Terminal 1 which has 2 Sayonara Entrances – SAD

Nothing more i say will save the situation. I promised and i broke it. Haix.

I AM SORRY DEMING – sobx. :’(

It may look watery but i can assure you that it deserves 4/5 Stars.

Year of the TIGER - Nothing Good so far :(

Once again, i have been arrowed and shot straight into the heart. WHY does a simple good idea/action could turn into something so BIG?

Although i have been consuled and learnt about the big deal - my heart is still not settled. If my ideas are going to waste, i shall stay still in my comfort zone and go home on time, come to work on time and do nothing other than the task assigned to me.

I shall aviod all unecessary conflicts from now on and taking initiative for the things at work really seems to get to me. I have now about 10% of job interest/satisfaction left for the company. I did started out to really love this job due to Kris, Jennive, Jun Hao, Pearlyn and Nancy. But right now, i feel that is no meaning to it at all. we are all in different shifts and i keep getting into shit holes and it feels like i am the one bringing the team down.

Although deming asked me stay a little while longer, i really feel nothing at all. Probably it is about time, i think i have learnt enough about the "GOOD THINGS" in MNC.

I need to keep my emotions in check - Last time i had Kris and Jun Hao and Jen to keep me in check, but now, i think probably Jun Hao cannot stand my kiddy acts too. LOL.. i am as immature as ***** says.

Nevertheless, i am a person who plans my things and if it does not go as planned, i will have a contingency plan or pull out immediately- due to FEAR? TABUN~ nehy

Ranting and scars of the heart should stop here. I shall not take anymore initiative and i think i should smile less too - as it is a weakness of the soul.

After our esplande show, i decided to bring Dear to my favourite hang out place whenever i am feeling low or lost. A cup of choco from Max Brenner will lift one's spirit anytime.

I decided to go for the HUG MUG as i was feeling a little cold and rather drink that make choco - but still i recommended the Signature "Sucko" to dear, but she rather take my drink -_-

I seem to have less blogging time as the months go by. Once a month is really my max probably. Unless some biggy issues or heartfelt matters i really need to say and can't get off my chest - probably i will turn back her and rant all the shit out. Whatever the case, let me give an short update for those i have not met this year; for those who i have met, be glad. LOL

Before i begin, i would like to say how much i detest women drinking + getting drunk and thinking she is not drunk AT ALL. ZzzzzZ Totatly no difference from the guys who always think "THEY CAN". WTF..

And to add - CONGRATS! CONNIE!! for passsing SG FReaking test: If u need or want anything, i can get for you. Just for my little HIME~ u will always be the little sweetheart i carried in my arms-- haha.. i think i carried u more than Na Xuan definitely.. LMAO

So it begins - the great M'sia Trip with my IN LAWs ( Yes people, soon to be but in my heart they are already ok.. )

It was nostalgic - vsiting the Paper CHicken without my family members, i wonder if the EY1801H is in the Scraps already, my dear old friend.

Pity we couldn't get any durian or Seow Pao as we were kinda in a rush. It was damn sad that i did not manage to see DIDI and her refused to even talk to me on the phone.. It was a deep dark play - unlike the other play which iwent to; this is much more in dept and not as narrative, more as the souls true self wanting to break from from the world we once know..

Enough said - it is just points of view that differs from person to person - but they could be better in the props area and dipictation of songs closer to home - our home.

FINALLY - arigatou ah Tai for the sweet tooth gift from Japan. I so need to meet up with Mooky so as to pass him this wonderful blend of dark and milk chocolates. If i love him - you will love it too! LOL..

I mean i could play it but i dun really want any bad karma resulting from those unwanted FOREPLAY. Rest of the items were so so.. nothing much raving about – The Turkey set was really pathetic.. not to my liking as it is much too tough. CHristmas dinner @ Deming’s house tasted much much better than the turkey here!! zzzz

Although it looked pretty nice, it is really nothing.. I would only probably recommend Aston only.

GET YOUR SEXY BACK!! GYSB Boomz 09!

The night started off with a long queue at the entrance of velvet underground! Party goers started to queue way before the 7.30pm starting time of the GYSB Boomz 09! Armed with a pair of VIP tickets, courtesy of OMY, I made my way to the VIP area, carrying a heavy goodie bag courtesy of the various sponsors such as CLEO, NUM, etc.

The first act was songs by Jilian-Marie Thomas. She sang a number of medleys, and of course not forgetting the theme song of GYSB! The audience was wowed by her strong and powerful vocals!

Next up was the famous Singaporean band DFC. They too belted out a couple of fav songs, together with the Chinese version of the theme song for GYSB. Fans were shouting and supporting their fav singers and bands whenever they were up on stage.

Project superstar winners Chen Diya and Carrie Yeo were next in line, and they not only sang their fast moving number, they also had a duet together! The best part is, they announced they were releasing their new album soon, sending the audience cheering and whistling in delight!

Local indie-alternative band En-X was the next performers on stage, by this time I could see the audience were getting a little bit restless, but hey the best is always left for the last! When En-X belted their last number, the audience went into frenzy as up next was the long awaited performance everyone has been longing for, the highlight of the evening. None other then JJ Lin coming on stage!

The boyish singer certainly has a huge fan base, as everyone started screaming and chanting his name, and JJ certainly lived up to his superstar status, and belted out a number of his hit singles, which got the audience singing along. He also shared that at some point, he almost gave up the journey, but thanks to the support of the people around him, he persevered and will be releasing a new album soon! That send the audience into another frenzy, as he gave one and all present a sneak preview of one of the singles in the upcoming album.

Overall it was a fantastic night, lots of great music, Jamie Teo was as pretty as ever as host, most importantly the message of responsible drinking was send to everyone present, and I left feeling great about it!

The Princess and the Frog – 1st Kisses

Upcoming in the cinemas, there is an interesting fairytale movie show – The Princess and the Frog. Not the usual First kiss where you get a prince after kidding the frog - NICE~

This is so like real life: Murphy’s law plays a great part and never EVER get your expectations to high, or you may get stuck in it. Make your best out of your situation and you may be well-rewarded!

Well looking back at my First Kiss, it was not really Froggish but neither was a a dream come true. Well about 70% dream come true though what came after that was disastrous.

As being a couple was a totally new experience for me, i had no experience in any form of kissing – probably on my hands, arms – and some stolen kiss from neighboring aunties who found me cute. That was it – for practice.

Worse of all? I’ve got a buddy who edged me, challenging me to the fact that i could not kiss my GF – as i was a MCP, and i was worried that one thing may lead to another and i so do not want that. Thus begin my planning for that ultimate kiss.

It was at her house, when i was leaving. Not wanting to lose the bet to my friend, i boldly summed up all my courage and asked her: “Can i KISS you?” – she shyly nodded. Elated our first kiss was brief – yet it felt like the time stopped, and it was eternity. the joined moment for the first time sent electric blots right down my spine. So much so that i lost my brain for that instant and was jumping out with joy – blurting out the fact that i have won the bet with my buddy. “What bet?”

OMG – Silence that lasted for eternity another eternity experience came over me. That was it. I spilled the beans and made the best experience into the worst experience a girl could ever have. NOT that i didn’t kiss due to love, just that there was this minor 5% in it that i was glad to have won the best and not be a wussy.

LIFE does not go as you plan. What will go WRONG will always go Wrong. zzzzzz

Although it ended quite bad (for me,cause after that she kept on asking for some every other day), it was definitely something i would remember for life. :)

Whatever the case it, treasure your loved ones no matter the situation is and have an adventure of a lifetime. And please:-

A Christmas Carol” starring Jim Carrey opening in Singapore cinemas 19th November 2009

I was propitious when i knew that i won tickets to the 3D movie. Even more so when i reached the venuw and found out that for once, a preview of a show, there isn't a need to rush into the cinema as we are assigned seats! ( Although it could be better - i and my girlfriend had to be seperated D-18 & D-19, which was a tit too aweful) Ontop of it, there were christmas goodies (PopCOrn, a drink - A&W or Green Tea, and the picture below! Ikea Jar of delectables) on the chair!! I am so looking forward to the show. :)

As it began, i was quite annoyed with the previews of the shows to come in 3D as wearing glasses wasn't really helping the situation at all, although the popcorn did allivate the situation a little. And so it all began, as i expected a little - a grumpy person who hated christmas just like the GRINGE, but the awesome acting by Jim Carry really brought out the darkness and with the 3D effect, the reality of the magical effects was so surreal.

As the story goes - the grumpy Scrooge was visited by the christmas ghost: Past, Present and Future. I would highly recommend this show as to me, there was a turn of events from what i remembered.

Kids would probably be frightened and appreciate christmas a little more and i am sure, staunch believers would agree that this goes beyond the Mother Mary theory, and still the bottom line is i would bring across is KARMA.

For a festive season, go watch this show, and one can see how much joy one can bring by just opening their hearts and seeing things in another prespective - one may be able to bring joy just by contributing a little from whatever one has..

Graduation & the mark of Night Shift

Finally i have started on my night shift, and as expected – the time limit (like Ultraman) is only till 5am in the morning. When we were having an conference meeting with grant, i actually doze off and snored! zzz.. For the first time, micro break did me more harm: Fall asleep time was like 30sec!

Hopefully i am able to tune my body and do better tomorrow.

Well first up: Food from my colleagues The beautiful plate of lor mai fun (glutinous .rice ) and famous amos cookies. Many Thanks to Nancy and Kris for the food.

To begin, we went to Yummy Crab for our graduation. @ 351 Changi road. Price was about 30 per person and the food was definitely above average. But i would recommend going for crabs, salted egg sotong and the fried rice only. Enough said. Let your eye start feasting.

We ordered 2 types of crabs. The chili crab and the butter crab. Both are really tasty but i would prefer the female – butter crab as it is less spicy. With regards to the salted egg sotong, it would be a favorite if it went along with some rice. a tit to salty but delicious. :)

Lunch @ Bedok & Family Dinner @ PuTien (Flagship Outlet)

Yoz Mina San~ It’s been one month since i posted anything here – of course for the past month or so – many things happened – those who follow my facebook will know – i went to taiwan and back to M’sia to visit my Granny as i started work on the 1st Oct @ Xilinx le. Taiwan foodie pictures can be seen @ my facebook site. For now, just let ur eyes feast upon the food i have taken the past week :)

Working @ Xilinx is really awesome – I took this job in the first place due to it’s night shift timing and course it is near my place. Never did i know will i meet great people within the company – Jennive, Kris & Jun Hao my lunch kakis and of course the whole group: Leslie, Arlyn, Pearlyn, Michelle and our adorable trainer Nancy (Who is supposed to make Lor Mai Fan on Tuesday for us ^u^!! Yummy!!)

Super grateful to Jen, Kris and Jun Hao for always jioing me to lunch and it is always them who are driving.. Arigatou gozaimas.. Thanks alot, i just want express my greatest gratitude as ferrying a fatty bom bom like me really cost more fuel :P And thanks Jen for the shopping trip to Metro (and the EPS charges), sorry i did not bring my metro card on that day.. GOme~

Although for the next 2months, we going to be 8-5pm, i really hope to spend more time with them and learn more new things from them, especially wanna know more on the engineering side from Irene if possible :) Still have 2 weeks to consider the teacher job though.. Haix..

To start: This week We decided to Comb Bedok and try every outlet/market in the area. Thanks Jen for the idea – i didn’t know Bedok was such a Night area. I only knew about the Bar chor mee and Simpang Bedok’s Roti Prata..

Taman Bedok’s Ayam Pennant, It had a long queue, $4 for one but i forgot the stall name. I think that this food is great as it is really a delicacy.

Next up: Simpang Bedok’s Tang Tea House

Nancy told us about this place and she wanted to try the hala dim sum – many thanks to kris

From top to bottom: we had Dim Sum (Shanghai Dumplings, Siew Mai, Shui Jing Bao, Carrot Cake & Beancurd Roll), Fried Hongkong noodles, Fried Chili Beef Nasi Goreng, and my personal Fav – Beef kway teow!! Many thanks to Jen :) and lastly, my drink Wheatgrass Coconut which is super cooling, as i ordered the Chili nasi goreng which was SUPAR SPICY!!! luckily kris and nancy saved me by swapping their HK noodles with me.. Arigatou.. ^n^ ~ I would highly recommend the beef kway teow only if u are not scared of oily stuff.. Dim sum i would recommend the beancurd roll and chicken siew mai. Rest are ok nia lor..

Lastly, DInner!!! @ Pu Tien

We had a family dinner @ Pu Tien as Da ge found a fantastic offer – 100% rebate for the month of Oct and on their opening day we had a 20% discount. Well enough said.. here is wat we ordered at first.. Dozou~

For Starters: We had Jellyfish and Small Pig intestines. I would recommend the intestines if u are a lover – the chili goes well with it. As for the jellyfish, nothing much lor..

Next, Mains: Chili La La, Clay pot Sea Cucumber, Specialty Vegetables, Garlic Prawn, Pu Tien Eggplant. (recommendation: Prawn)

As i felt that there is much more to be tried, i ordered Pu Tien Lor Mee and the Specialty Meat bun ($2.80 per pc). Both AWESOME!

The Design of Pu Tien looks interesting, on close scrutiny of the picture you can find lots of stories in the old CHina history. Feeling happy that there was good food thus went snapping mindlessly.. :)

The last picture was the staff of Pu Tien’s Supper – that bowl of noodles is whatever noodles leftover i think..

To sum it up:

But please bear this in mind – although there is a rebate, the vouchers are more a less a gimmick/ Fake. Please see the voucher i have taken as a guide, there is a minimum spending of $50 to use the Voucher!!! We had $150 and there is an expiry date.. Sianz..

Finally i got a job – @ Xilinx a FPGA company which is a MNC. So looking forward to the job so that i can do many other stuffs in the morning. Probably this job will kill me, but on the bright side, i will be definitely super thin – i hope; from slogging through the night. :)

With all that said – let’s get on to the FOOD!!!

1st up: Kim Gary. This place has great Hongkong food, although recently i found out that Sg Xin Wang Cafe standard was quite good too! maybe cause it is more Sgren taste. Thank Mao for the late night supper. Great to see you everytime – like once a year? LMAO.. keep in touch ok?

Muhahhaa – although didi has no passport to enter Singapore, i can always go visit him! Thanks for Dear’s suggestion, i was about to see him once again. *muacks..

Well to begin – i was super tired the night before as we went bowling and pool-ing. well shopping was on the agenda as mooky had to get some clothes for his new job thus i was called in for help. (I too am going to go for shopping spree soon! haha)

Well i couldn’t wake up the next morning but dear shook me up with her calls. :P Although i dragged my feet out, i was still late.. zzz and swayness – there was rain, drizzle and an overturn lorry. LATE.. and shagged.. But mummy seemed excited as i brought her along, something i wished to do long long ago le. Well wat can a daughter do? LMAO..Finally:

How not to fall in LOVE with that kawaii face :) I so want to bring him home muahahhaa.. we had lots of fun that day – hope he studies well for his exams.. here are some more photos with my kids..

Pizza Hut’s new creation – Pasta: i find on the average, it was good- especially the mushroom thingy(Last Pic) one. Oiishi Black pepper(No. 2) was not bad to.

Lastly Hans: Turkey Meal thingy. Well turkey is healthy – cause i had fish with edwin that day already at Swensen so no more Fish.. :P

To end my Post, i would like to present Pictures from my younger days when i was a performer, when my teacher “HUA LIANG” was still alive. I am super grateful for his teaching as i really appreciated Mandarin on a whole new level. Learning was fun.

Next up is my Japan Pictures. I miss my Host family in Miyazaki – Satoru!!! Genki deska? Well if possible i would like to visit them one day. if they still remember me. haha..

The reason why i love primary school kids so much – they are so innocent and playful – we bond together like the age gap of 7 years was insignificant. It’s good to be young. :)

Great Medical Experience

Finally back home – after spending a night at the hospital – which was kind of interesting for those who know why i am there. The food’s awesome, as they wanted me to check in at 10pm, and fasting only begins at 12 midnight – the supper: chicken bolognaise spaghetti. Yum Yum. Internet was readily available too!

Breakfast was even better! i got durian pudding, cake, bread, fruits, salad and mee goreang, which i could not finish so i da pao homelor. :)

The “compensation” and result that came with it was even better. I am cleared!! muahhaha.. $ v $

Well since everything is fine for now, with the exception of being jobless – i shall post a every interesting LOTR ( lord of the ring) trailer. Damn cool for people like ah tai who know hokkien.. LMAO..

That aside – Recently i finally found the time to visit ION orchard due to kor kor’s stupid instigation to look for a free lobang to beef up my resume: Usher OBAMA. No kidding – it is the president of United States. But since i am not really a sociable i kinda skipped it – so man people there.. TURN OFF.. headed to ION Orchard walk walk while waiting for my kaki’s

I went to the convention as kor won a pair of tickets to the green lantern premiere.

Hal Jordan – the first human green lantern showed infinite possibilities. Glad that Dear enjoyed the show – although i would have preferred it to be screened at a theater instead of the convention.

My favorite was Transformer and Naruto costume. Wanted to take photo with masked rider kabuki but i cannot find him/her le. SAD.

I have always love shows with Sandra Bullock in it. Her acting is great and always never fails to get me up when i am feeling down.

But what entices me about this movie is that a woman proposing to a man! Finally no more stereotypes! Since most females are always wanting to have equal standing with men, i really think this put “what men should do” on a whole new level.

After all Women tend to be more manipulative when they want to get what they want. :) True to a certain extend – I should think so.. LOL

Slimming: failing @ the whole new level

Recently i met up with my cousin who was talking about trying to slim down and thanks to nuffnang, i feel inspired to write this entry on my past experience, on sliming products.

When i was in Poly year 1, at around the age of 17, being a fatty bom bom was not a really kool thing, especially when u like a girl and size is a problem. At that point of time, there was los of famous sliming products, slim10, which was a failed product and another product which i tried, it was EXTRIM.

since i loved to eat (alot), regardless western, Japanese, or Asian, Extrim really appealed to me. Seeing Michelle Chia eat so much and yet still remain her great figure made me really eager to try it out, even though it cost like $128 for a box of 60 capsules?

Of course i did not complete the course as i did not see any weight loss. I stopped around the 50th tablet. then my greatest nightmare happened. For some reason, even though i stopped the drug, my body still reacted to starch content the same way – diarrhea and oily discharge. It was during this time that i found out i used too much strength in the toilet – tearing my rectum and causing piles soon after that ( as i had blood in the stools).

Probably there were other factors which led to all these symptoms but after stopping for all these years, the only problem that remained was having bloating in the stomach, and probably water retention in the body ( as Extrim required the user to drink lots of water).

Currently right now have decided to lay off on pills and try other things; for instance, Cavitation Technology.

K.L Trip ( 31st July 2009 – 3rd Aug 2009)

Visited alot of shopping malls, most of all i wanted to go to the twin towers but it is only limited to 35 people per day. SAD..

Twin Towers & Tower Sunway Pyramid Shopping center & lagoon all in one place. SUPER DUBER BIG. :)

Food for lunch/dinner was at Sakae sushi- we spent about RM120 for lots of food & sashimi. liked Malaysia’s Sakae due to their interesting range of foods offered.. Yum Yum..

IPOH/PENANG Trip (19th July – 27th July)

A beautiful rainbow which i took secretly when the fireflyz plan was about to land in SG. I think it shows a better 2morow.. i hope. & of course: LOVE – for my pinned feeling the past week for my dear – made out of seashells near the sea. U should see how me and connie worked hard to prevent this from becoming destroyed by the high tide. Batu Fringgi is a nice place to collect sea shell by the sea shore :)

Upon reaching Ipoh the 1st stop: we had curry noodles. I so missed the horfun and with fireflyz, i can just fly there whenever i crave it :)

Mooky’s Pre-Birthday Celebration (18 July 2009)

As i will be away a long time – to ipoh and K.L, i decided to hold Mooky’s Bdae party early. Accompanied the girls the whole day for shopping and finally went for dinner at this really kool place behind shaw. Fiona, GD intro!

The best dishes i would recommend is the lobster bisque, tom yum spaghetti, and carborana pasta. The other 2 is nothing worth mentioning. Padthai and ramen? i forgot.. –_o |||

following that we headed to this dessert place at shaw towers- their tarts were really nice and presentable, but taste wise i think it is a little too sweet. Stick with the maroons instead, which is the safest bet.

LUNCH: Pasta at Vivo Restaruant

i was on a tight schedule, Work was shifted and i had the whole day free. As it was a last minute thingy, i decided to call dear to see if she was free (wrong option) as she had plans already. Well last minute is my fault. Speed dialed my 2 buddies for last hope to prevent myself to be a lonely old geezer for a movie a Europa: a movie which i waited for 2 long years and finally it is here. Almost cried when i saw the ending. Good people should be together. I hate sad endings / people who love each other can’t be together endings. Haix. Glad I have Ah tai.. of course it was my treat as i kinda forced him to watch such an artistic film ( as the price was pricy too).

As we were hungry from all that life story thingy – we walked around vivo to find good food – and spotted this restaurant that serves Oysters!!

I ordered the Avocado milkshake as it was interesting. My spaghetti was the normal minced beef whereas ah tai’s is chicken? all i can say the taste is great and portion nicely done. The oysters were fresh as well. Hope to visit the good price + good food place soon again.

duck is exceptional great and so is the price for the food. Will not recommend the chee cheong fun (fried) as it really turns me off. Try the dim sums, really will wheat up ur appetite for more adventure foods. :) go safe with har kao and siew mai, my fav char shao bao or dear’s fav: lian rong :)

Highly recommended by mooky. He and his family loved the desserts though i feel malaysia desserts is still much much better, though most will agree that probably HK is best. One of my many planned place to visit. When i have the cash. I ordered “Fu zhou yi mai” beancurd skin with barley, my buddies ordered peanut and seaseme paste, which clearly tasted much much better. BOYCOTT!! LMAO..

Dear is a avid lover of soft drinks. So much so that i have to cut it down for her. Since together with me, she has significantly reduced her sugar intake through soft drinks as i totally hate them. Well water or milk is fine by me :)

She really love soups so whenever there are good soups, she will order. I will only go for clam chowders as they are kinda my fav. Clam things are yummy.. :) main course sucked so nothing much there..

We had some voucher of some sorts so we decided to visit swensens and relive our poly days. Tampines is nothing like Jurong point. Though i think ice-cream there is still cheap and affordable, unlike mi Ben & Jerry. We ordered a 1 person course meal as i was not that hungry..

I love crystal jade dim sums and for some reason, when night falls, bugis area become so frantic – so many people. Thus i decided to go high end so that people will be fewer. Well i was wrong. People do eat richly. True people are fewer and there is seats. Starters – PO LO BAO!! HK Dim sum must haves… & Yuan Yang..

YEAH!! final the guard rotation has ended. No more sai kang and no more khetan to raise my blood pressure.

Trip on fireflz was great - oni 2 hous flight and no long hours on kuku bus with toilet readily avaliable at the price lower than the coach bus. wat more can i ask for? :)

Well of course if dear was here it would be much better.. i wun be so Emo-ish.. so bored....

For some reason, i got the shopping disease from dear. I wan to go Jusco, Tesco and The Store. Free aircon, got movie theather and most important great discounts. Great M'sia Sale!!!

FOODie time!!

It's a long time since i have updated anythingabout food an my outings. Really sorry as the guard rotation at SQN really sapped my blogging time and SQN cannot really upload photos, plus CWO have been maximising full use of the NSF.

Watever the case, as a sergent, we just do as we are told and highlight only when things really go bad like losing one limb -

so for now, please feast on Manpuku's famous foods: Raging from the sushi(s) to the main courses. One of these days i will just go try the beautifully crafted desserts (Pies/Tarts) they have :)

Sashimi super fresh; but super expensive - not fit for the POOR wallets...

Seasoned Octopus & Red Bean pancake aka Dorayaki

The rdorayaki ice cream red bean cake was quite nice.. so i suggest u can try it if u wan a lighter dessert, as for the main course - the chicken katsu was so-so, i will still prefer the moonlight onomiyaki!!

Next up is @ Just Noodles; Millenia Walk. There was a 1-for-1 deal in the newspaper so i decided to head there for our dinner with ah tai and dear dear. Good for wallet mah..

The starters was fine - quite normal; tempura prawns and california maki. Just plain normal.

Next: Chicken Tamago Don & Pork Noodle Soup. The base of the soup was great while the Don is below average not really recomended.

Not in Picture: is my Kimichi noodles and salmon offer. there was a promotion going on for it's salmon, as an avid lover of Raw fishes, i had to try it's standard. It was great as the price was cheap. How much i can't remember but the kmichi noodles was blasting spicy. I still remember it was a sat, during the IT fair. Walked around a bit more and we decided to head to for some chilling good time and kool chinese music. EVERBODY was not free or quarrintine (YOU NOE WHO U ARE) or not into china music so only 3 of us avid listeners was there. It was GREAT!!

Wanted to post her "GUAN HUAI FANG SHI" but i was unable to upload an <.amr> file. anybody has any idea how to go about doing it? If so, Cbox me or sms lor.. Arigatou...

Fatherhood tales – Excursion trips

Time passes quickly when you are with loved ones and spending time together. Regardless of the place and time – everything seems nice.

Recently my GF’s cousin came over to her place to stay for the holidays and i suddenly became a big brother to these 2 kids.

One big happy family isn't it? The boy always sticks to me, just like my little mini me. Probably it is the hairstyle. LMAO.

During their stay here, we brought them to the science center, Asian civilization museum and the merlion. There was an art festival going on so it was a real treat for them. At the science center, there was the Da Vinci exhibition going on too, so it was an eye opener for the kids and us.

The remaining pictures are still in dear dear’s camera, all the above pictures are taken through my handphone, most of them actually taken by Danny himself, as he wanted to be part of the camera crew.

Why Fatherhood? cause i had to ensure he eats proper meals, worry if they are having fun and all other stuffs. Of course i favored Danny more – as dear said, something which i only knew after their stay here.So i told dear dear that i want a boy! she said it all depended on me.. zzzz Oysters here i come :)

Danny and i have lots of common interest. Probably it is because i am a man who doesn’t grow up – We are both naruto fans and love swimming. I brought him swimming 3 times for the last 2 weeks! Teaching him swim was really fun, especially seeing him slowly improving – the sense of achievement.

Science center was interesting – with a corner of the “BIRDS & BEES” made him curious, i had a hard time explaining when we had a sleep over. Was super tired the next day for work but i truly missed them, even now ( 2 days later) i still feel like a part of me is missing. Haix.. i am too emotional.

He too protects me from dear dear scolding, and other stuff: a boys only alliance! hehe..

just for memory sake: my father in law just commented that I AM FAT. zzz.. jogging routine here i come. bo bian. his obstacle damn hard to cross. i need to pass IPPT in order to pass first round. Up on the agenda is always finding a good job. Although dear dear supports me going to china, i really doubt i will be able to survive there, again. I will make new friends, but old ones that touched me will always remain there – of course leaving will be a good opportunity to get away from those people who constantly do me harm. A freaking good excuse that i can use – like FOREVER!

Whatever the case, life now is quite stable. I think right now i need to plan for my 8 days leave coming up soon. most probably going to take during July since i have OIL to clear too. like lots. JB here i come. Planning a ROADTRIP!!

Exam results will be out in 2 more days.. I really pray that i will be able to pass everything.. so that i can get a job and start a new chapter of my life. Studying AGAIN doesn’t really seem very appealing anymore.

Watever the case, i can only bide my time till then. Time for the next post, my M’sia Trip – Penang! (Ipoh has been as usual, except this time i brought dear back to my hometown. No pictures there though.)

We stayed at dear dear’s place, a condo near gurney drive.great view, shopping access and most impt, great company :)

The above photo was taken at the 37 story i think.. my camera almost flew down, the wind was scarily strong.especially at night. The window at the balcony couldn’t even close when it rained!

My favorite spot in the house. Drinking and relaxing after a meal or bath is really amazing. I love the life there. Missed the walks beside the beach too..

RM2.50, maggi mi + egg and RM3 for fried rice. Nutsumi. Taste like F**K

Drinks worth mentioning: the green juice is called “***” i forgot.. :P

Famous durian ice kacang. *Slurp. and char kway teow. but kway teow still is the best in Ipoh. Smooth and silky, unlike Penang’s lumped together feeling.

While waiting for the gals doing the hair, ah tai and me went on an adventure outside the mall, in search of food and interesting iconic structures.. well food is always on my agenda.. :) Fried chicken and Dai lok Mee – aka fujian noodle..

We had dinner at gurney drive. nothing much to say. Food sucked, ambience sucked, well everything was bad. i mean not as i remembered. BAD. not even average. I rather eat in the mall. SAD.

Breakfast on the next day was superb. I always though that money not = good food, but boy i was wrong. to the max,, superbly wrong. Kim Kim’s family showed me what money could buy – great food comes at a price. no photos but memory will definitely last forever. Place and food deep down. Min xian fried. interesting.

We brought breakfast for our “KIDS” – wonton noodles. Looks good taste good – RM 3. This is FOOD. but without the conversion it is considered expensive. wonder how the locals survive… Dear bought extras like kuays and stuff.. taste good.. yum yum..

As u can see, their wonton mee is nothing like ours. I will surely go back to have al this again. :)

Wat is M’sia without the durian. under the mango tree? LOL.. ah tai’s hokkien was amazing.

And lastly – MONKHOOD. at the local barber shop.

Cam whoring on the trip back to butterworth for our coach bus back to SG.

I so need a plan to loose all the pounds gained on the trip. I need to exercise. Ah may keep saying i need to eat less.. zzz., well i am losing weight le.. gonna make dear self conscious. muhaha. Trim and fit.. here i come!!

My Holiday trip st8 after all the stress from school – Glad i made it through without stabbing any profs, and also pray that i can pass everything. Escaped after the presentation.. on Jetstar airways..

Day 1: Upon reaching our hotel in Kata area ( one of he richest more expensive towns in Phuket) We headed out st8 as da ge though it was a waste of time to rest in the hotel.. zzz Lunch was 1st on the agenda.

Walk a few miles before kor kor decided on this restaruant where we were fed and we in turn feed the mosquitos. food was so-so.. weather was freaking hot.

We ordered fried rice, fried noodles something else and tom yum kung. nothing much to talk about. the juice (orange) was bad – it was mandarin orange juice..Yuck…

After that we rented 2 motorcycles and rode around the island to explore what this island had to offer other than mountains and beaches. Was super tired as i think i got Jetlagged.. zzz

Day 2: Woke up early as i did not have a good night’s rest. Queen sized bed with 3 person sleeping on it. Darn it.. i wished i could have my own room / bed, but since it is an all expenses paid trip, i shut my trap.

* remembered squeezing with ah tai and mooky on the queen sized bed too! looks like saving runs in my family.. lol

I love Hotel breakfast. fried noodles ( which taste like mummy’s cooking) sausages tomatoes and bread.

When da ge woke up, we drove to the beach and waddled in the sand

and drove up to the mountains where i suggested for a stop for coffee. Kor kor was pissed when he saw the bill: as he oni changed very minimal amt of $$$, we had to scrip and save every penny, which still wasn’t enough – cup noodles was a solution. zzz But for the meantime, Iced Latte!! Sugoyi~

The view was amazing i had so much fun even though it was just coffee.

PS: somebody came up and intro himself to me.. zzz. i keep getting unwanted attraction. I tot i was just a fat asshole and i purposely didn’t save yet – i still garnered all this ewewewewe… nutz.. if only dear was here to protect mi. haix.. well i think the latte was this beautiful as…. -.-||| WADEVER

We continue on the motor to search for the famous place in phuket – which really brought back memories: i missed weijie when i had the star cruise trip: i think it was my very 1st outing with frenz, considering the rest of my overseas trip are always with family. Poly yr 3 was DA BOMB! Wine beer and everything. really fond memories where we posed together for the group photo. every place felt strangely familiar

I came before the Tsunami, now after the tsunami, it still feels – SAD. Why does such a big buddha over looking the town of Phuket see the destruction done by the wave? Is it because the place was “DIRTY”? I cannot comprehend.. Time for lunch…

for some reason, food in thailand is on the extreme ends, but a tourist spots, it is tone down a little for the sake for um – tourist.

It looks like sg hor fun at the local zi char stall.. zzz

Continuing on the journey, we went to the viewing point to see the “whole of Phuket”

Nice POses right.. haha.. me and my gundu ideas.. kor kor was almost freaked out by my constant nagging and weird “GAY” Posing which again attracted unwanted attraction. I have such negative energies.. zzz I like cam whoring.. what’s wrong with that? i just criticized kor kor’s photo taking skills oni mah..which he got better..

We went to the thai temple there was so many weird thing going on at that time.

Day 3: We went on tour, water rafting, elephant rides and ATV ride.. :)

I woke up early again to do this at the beach. right before the wave washed it away.. Nice right.. hehe..(SEE the heart in the “a”? )

Last paper to Go!!

It is down to the last paper, but for the past few weeks, i have not been sure of myself – it was difficult taking Digital Communications again but it felt even worse after today’s paper – I was LOST, a complete lost. I knew shit about the paper even though i understood the question. Weird huh.

Watever it is – hitting the books seems to be a better option than emo-ing. After all i dun want to worry dear.

Ah tai sms-ed me asking me how was the paper, maybe caused he didn’t wished me all the best thus i flunked it? LOL.. giving all the sTuPid reason to Y i failed. I am just *HAIX

Well just let me be – i have just found the meaning of my life and thus i will not disappear and do stupid stuffs, well i ate chili mee pok dry, something i have not done for a few years, is that a kind of lament? Hmm…

Lee Brother’s Concert: –> Last 2 papers b4 Unemployment

Last saturday, 18th April, i went with dear ( we bought the tickets on the day i asked her. ) to Lee brother’s concert. She wanted to see it but none of her frenz were willing to part with the money. I robbed my elder brother ( $50 – now owe $100) and younger bro ( $100 – now still $100) for the money to go to the concert.

Since there were so many STARS for the show, i guess the money was worth it. After all, it is whom i am seeing with that matters - (right ah tai ^ v ^) We went in the evening as she had a meeting in eunos, thus i took a bus ( which was a long time since our JB trip that Buses can be so damn irritating, with china pple yaking away like the whole world’s dead in their dialect) that took in time- 51min, whole trip – walking running after buses – 1hr 10 min.

Dinner at Leisure park was horrible. We settled for KFC after numerous attempts of getting a seat at koufu. I so wanted to go into a restaurant for dinner already but dear said i was crazy, need no spend unnecessary money. My patience level = 0.

Sick – Virus attacks the PIKA

Dear people,

I am not chao-keng-ing. For some reason i am always sick. I wonder if i am down with a superb virus or probably some “Fren” from mandai has been attached to me. Well to put it simply, i am WEAK.

Drenched in a little rain, i will be sick – PERIOD. if i dun change my clothes after sweat, i will fall sick ( Probably that was the reason for last week sickness, after badminton i ride back home at 90km/h from sengkang CC to HOme.)

I feel like an 80yr old man. A little virus causes my knees to be weak and dizziness but i always feel NOT feverish, although the doctor will keep telling me that my temperature read 38.5. Dangerous. Hmm.. Hand measure does not work anymore.

Probably i am going to Die soon, being sick like 3 times since this month of April started. Watever the case, i think i need rest, from everything and anything and start cleaning my room as “AH MEI” said my room is too cluttered, which i Fully agree – i have a tv, dvd, 2 computers, and a katana and books, 3calculator all in my room!! not including the anime collection. In a small room. No wonder i can’t breathe in my favorite hiding ground. Thanks for showering your attention, and sorry for making u worry. It is normal, after i rest for 3 days or so, i should be back on my feet.

Toast: and seafood something.. i really love this kind of bread.. Honey make my heart go awwwwwwe..and my dish was spaghetti with curry, which was one of my death cause for illness, but i just had to try. After all, my dear loves hot stuff.

Killer no.2: Cakes, i was like max x 10 but still, dessert was a must especially secret recipe cakes. I choose yogurt cheese while Jimmy choose cappuccino cheese. Yogurt really helps, but in the night, i had stomach flu due to the curry. zzzz.. I can’t eat chili at all. Haix..

Next Up: Dinner with dear dear!! at suntec, as i was still sick. she choose something healthy, with all the vege and stuff, and we caught the movie Shoppaholic. The show was great! but it aggravated my health as the cinema was super cold and i felt like SHIT – coughed blood in the sink, heatiness 110%. As usual, i was down in bed for 2 days before i could do anything. Porridge diet.. zzz.. i have never eaten so much porridge in a month. Congee sucks.

Dear Dear ordered rice after i pleaded and pleaded as i hate to eat porridge. she gave in to my request and of course, my stomach couldn’t digest rice, so PUA PEI again..

The bowl of beef noodles above was ah mei’s sister stall located at changi cilliage, opposite of the wanton mee stalls. The sauce was superb and not watery or soggy. Since i was a little better, soupy sauce seems to be a good idea. Cow is better than chicken anytime as chicken causes cough.

Next up: Shopping!! In JB – Jurong – anywhere that have sales.

2 gals + a guy – of course i am ahmad for a day. The gals went to Jusco Aeon somehting near tuas for haircut. Fiona got a weird cut and my dear dear got a nice rebonding.. I so LOVE her hair and cannot stop touching it after that.. and many days after too.. hehe.. After that we had lunch at A&W which was extinct in SG.

It was disappointing, The malays didn’t understand english and it was like the human talking to *******. English is a universal language, after all it is a new mall and yet, haix.. i think m’sia should really upgrade their language standard before it gets over run. Especially in the service sector. English is a MUST! A common fact ya know.. there isn’t even one chinese!! it was a close shave that we knew a little malay but she knew 0 english. SAD..

Back to SG, we were looking for a place to makan and on the way, there was a sale at bysi. thus round 2. BTW, there was a really chio BUs in bysi. 2 of hem, classy gals.. even dear also agree with me.. hahaha..

bysi is having sale till end of April 28th i think, so gogogo for all the gals out there, the clothes looks nice too. :) and judging from the shopping bags, it was a draw – fiona 2, joyce 2. –> which meant i was carrying 4 bags after i compressed and ensured that each bag was filled to the max.

Dinner: mos burger, Breakfast: Ya kun. Dear had to prepare steamboat for her sisters, so once again, i lent both hands. I hate going to wet markets but she insist on going as the things are fresher than NTUC so i just followed. I was really amazed at dear dear’s ability to choose fresh fishes and chicken and stuff. not the Tai tai i knew.. I am Lucky.. haha..and happy. Blessed: definitely

LAst but not least: Dinner and shopping date, just the two of us. I think i was sick due to monday and tuesday’s rushing of report.. But still, i just wanted to meet with her, she needed to buy her bdae clothes which i am going to miss today as i AM SICK – AGAIN!! virus F**K YOU.. haix.. but i am sure, she is going to be the center of attraction. Thanks for visiting me yesterday, and i hope u like the present and card which i DIY. ^u^

Starters: Minstone soup ( i think tomato agitates my throat ) although i used coke with lemon to counter, it didn’t really work. coke + lemon taste like ginger tea; Bleh..

PS: this foodie place is crystal jade eatery opposite of bugis junction. along the dessert lane. The food was really good and only cost $33. But note that plain water cost 50cents but it is free only if u order and drink ( like my coke with lemon = 1 free ice water /tea) and the baked rice is set so it comes with free drink ( yuan yang )

That’s all for now. I think i can only blog like after exams ( last paper on the 28th) I need to study. Please pray that i can pass all my exams. I dun want to repeat.. and i so need to take care of myself better. Jaa Mata for now mina san.. ~

It is finally the last week of school. Deadlines are up to the neck and today is the only day i have a breather. Wanted to go out and hang with my GF but was still sick.. :(

Well just resting for a while, so here are the photos i took when i went JB (again) and MA MASION with weiyao.. :)

We had Jap food for lunch - a quick one as we were watching a movie.. can't remember wat show wat time.. but this is the food.. I had something salmon to be healthy.. and jimmy some noodles. It was so so only.. i perfer Kim Gary though.. but jimmy felt that the salmon was nice.. to me, katsu not pork was weird.. fishy...

For dinner we settled at secret recipe. I just love the cakes there.. it is really good at a bargain price for SGD 3? well the coffee was so so.. and the black pepper chicken was crappy. Cakes is still the best. :)

Next is Ma Maison. Japanese western style food with nice magazines and cute japanese waiteress, who are real japanese..

The wait was really long. i and mooky waited for about an hour for our seats, this restaruant is recommended by my GF and ah malina.. many thnanks to them.. :)

First up: snails.. really good succlent superb crawlies...

It make ones feel like a conniseur while i ate this. the garlic is just nice with a nice aroma to it.

Next up: the main course. Mooky ordered the pork katsu and i tried the seafood plattter. although the place is famous for its hamburger, i order something fair for both of us so we can try everything..

Overall it is a Must try at Ma Maison. I already booked this wonderful place with great ambience next month. to end ( as i really need to get back to my books and report),

And a mudpie which was to DIE for.. physically as nobody could eat anymore.. The portion was just to big.. Me Sgrean - not American..

Facebook is a very interesting medium.. one that brings out photos of our good old days. Thanks alot to Randy for posting that class photo, which i remember only spending my time with jianping and deyna and my even kelvin huang. Well it is interesting to see the changes in people and how we are all doing after all these years. Some change for the better whereas some still have the same faces which is so recognisable..

Yesh.. i have failed my interview @ NIE. I can’t be a teacher. Try again? nope i am not going to. I will wallow in self pity and probably think about slashing my wrist & just wither away this face of the earth. Why must all the bad shit come at once? get a placing first? Muri desne~

With my results, i most likely will be the one that get filtered off first. moreover i can start work immediately so who would want me?

All the talk of securing a job first applies to 1st class honours people. I have given up hope on everything.

Movies & reopening of School; with a BANG

Wow.. early in the morning and the news of an Indonesian Chinese stabbed a NTU professor. Not that i hoped it was my professor but if it gives me a longer deadline i gladly would appreciate it. But thumbs up to the guy, he shouldn’t have suicide.. i would have given him support for fake teachers like M**. H who thinks he deserve that contract. I am sure alumni members would agree that he sucks.

Well for starters to this blog, i would like to say for the past week i have watched 1) Legend of Chun-Li, 2) Let the right one In and lastly 3) Marley & Me. Of all the above, i truly enjoyed Marley and me as probably i watched it with the right person? LOL..

2nd up would definitely be Let the right one In.. a really artistic show with excellent story line graphics. Since nobody wanted to join me i had to do loner stuff which i truly enjoyed actually. If u didn’t have work i probably would have pulled you with me.

2 assignments down and now what’s left is the FYP, which i hope to start doing as not to lead to another stabbing incident.. if you know what i mean..

Movie outing + Dinner

It is the one week break for NTU.. and during this break there are TONS of things to do, but right now, i just wanna have a kit kat break. Although i think i already started breaking since monday when i failed my Telecom quiz. Emo-ing has been quite a past time issue for me.

Watever the case, here are the photos for starters: A lunch time meal i had with weihong @ ricetable and the Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream i had with deming before he left for australia.

and yesterday after our movie ( My Bloody Valentine 3D) at Shaw, me and joyce headed down to Suntec City to meet with fiona, mooky and ah tai for dinner @ SWISS CULTURE. Ah tai and Mooky had a seminar in the morning and too watch a movie - Slumdog millionaire which i watched it like 3 weeks ago. I promote this movie though.. After Google-ing online, i don't think it is a true story, but it is a novel anyway.. LOL.. srry ah tai..

Well here are the pics to the Food we had.. I shared with Joyce as we already had a Soup at The Soup Soup @ Paragon after our movie.

Joyce ordered the German Sausage with Biscotti at the side, Ah tai had some mushroom pasta

Our apettizer was chicken wings and fiona had caborana which she only ate 3/4 and i swooshed down the reamining cheeze and lingunnie.. :P

Next up was dessert, though i highly dun recommend it at all. an additional 6.90 for dessert, drink and soup/salad really sucks. I will just go for the main course next time.

PS: If u like cheese, this is definately the place for you, except try to share share,, as too much cheese will spoil anybody's appetite.. trust me..

Next to the "cannot make it" dessert, it gelare's waffle and ice-cream. Since our dessert at swiss culture was bad, and we neeeded a place to hang, + fiona wanted some waffles thus we decided to settle with Gelare @ the merlion. Nice view, nice people -- so hanging out was fun.. with me as the Butt of the jokes ( thanks alot sis.. zzz)

After that i was invited to go pulau ubin which thankfully was cancelled as right now it is raining. Although they changed it to a movie, i declined going as most of the movies they are scrrening now i haved already watched - wanted to suggest watching at THE CATHAY for some flim art show, but i doubt the rest would want seeing some cockanathan academy wininng show, as most people will not be able to appreciate such shows. I would want to watch " LET THE RIGHT ONE IN" is anybody interested just sms / PM me. I am willing to see. :) Latest by end of next wed bah, else i see alone lor.. NOT --

FAILURE for Life II

Once again i have failed.. and Terribly. All 3 questions i got it wrong. I am so in a depression mode now.. Home is really a place to be when u are feeling Low.. the usual me would be chomping down on food and chocolates but this time, i just felt likt doing nothing and rotting my life away.. I think i will try to revamp my blog again for easy access to my entries.

By the way, i don't really think i will be able to stand on my feet as my recovery rate is getting longer and longer... and falling down seems to be a common thing for me. Perhaps i really used up all my luck as mooky said and there's nothing left for me to graduate? Watever.. i really wonder if i am able to pass this semester. Maybe a letter from NIE will boost my confidence a little?

~Go for the remaining 90%? It seems easy to say but studying really seems foreign to me. I think i will isolate myself already. I am so waiting for kiat to contact methis week for my motorbike revival.

Blated Valentines to mina San~!!

Well i received lots of frenz sms and calls and msn(s) regarding what i did for my valentines day. Well NOTHING!! LOL.. Surprised i am sure for many.. :P

Well i did study for starters. Yes Study - as i told myself that i had to prepare for that kuku quiz i am having on monday, which is 2molo.. zzzz.. Ok. Probably it was an excuse but a really gd one though.

I actually had 8 tickets for the Singapore River Cruise and Singapore Flyer as my elder bro and mum queued for it. But i gave it a pass as i sat on both lots of times , and i was going to keep my promise to myself to hit the books (Although i only managed to cover 2 tutorials). zzz

I onlyhave 14 more hours to go before the quiz starts.. Contemplating on the MC right now so as i will be able to skip the quiz and go for the make up.. Lame right? not as if i will study the next few days anyway.. Well ---- >> OMG.. DEJA VU!!

I feel that is is really good as the story evovles slowly, and the fight scenes and the mobile suits (aka LFO) are good. The OP are catchy thus i have put 2 of them on my imeem. Brother Deming -- Safe Journey

Haix.. it seemed so unreal. A close brother of mine have left for Australia Queensland. I was so going to post this up sooner but my timing is quite BAD. With all the projects coming, Quiz and FYP draft deadlines + Career Fairs, Interviews and stuff, i still manage to meet my kakis, and catch movie ontop of going to the airport an JB. WOW.. totally amazed at myself.

TIme management is something i really really need to do. At least for now, i have to put a PIRORITY 1 on Telecom Quiz this coming monday. Wish mi all the best.

Deming departure left me crying buckets -- ok maybe not buckets but teary eyed can.. zzz or Jimmy and kiat would start saying i am sissy-fied. Well, all of the sudden i lost a shelter - a place where i can run to when i am unhappy or sad, and yes, i do get SUPAR moody and PMS-ed, only my close buddies know.. Thinking back, i was very surprised to get a call from GP (today's already FRIDAY 13th!) yesterday night, him asking mi for advice for career options. Well for starters, one should really think about wat he wanna do for the next yr or so. For me, i am looking REST OF MY LIFE, so dun bother asking me. I really ned the Hard Fast Cash Pronto and yes, it is to maintain all the housing expenses and bike repair condition. "MO-MO" my bike, has been calling out in pain ever since the reversing incident.. and according to my autobike mechanic ah kiat - i would need tons of cash for servicing, that means no food for Jason, or entertainment. I guess i really should start saying NO from this week onwards, untill march that's is, till my Feburary pay comes in. after all, i still owe Da Ge $350 ( not including the $2000 i already borrowed before hand) I am a poor mut. Wow. It seems eons since i blogged. Busy busy.. although i am actually busy doing nothing.
Chinese New Year is still going on with a few days left: 5

Well here are some of my foodie photos that i left out when i went for the Chingay parade. We parked at the SIngapore Flyer and decided to have dinner there since joyce really liked to visit there once.

We decided on Jalepinos as they had the 1 for 1 offer on thier set meals. I decided on the COD Fish ( yes.. fish.) and she wanted to have seafood - aka lobster. Zzz.. trust a gal to order lobster.

It is the eve of the eve of chinese new year. I am lying down at home wondering if i should organise anything for the new yr celebrations as it is the time for friends. Deming is preparing to leave for Australia and i am SUPER going to miss him. Gay as it may sound, to me, it feels like i am going to lose him, just like R. As most likely he is going to be a PR there. Well maybe i should go over there for job oportunities.

Well enough said, i going to post some long time ago things..

It was a long long time since i had dinner with my Brothers. It was sweet. Long talks and just enjoying our time before the war. It is after all famous for their chicken which i wanted my buddies to try :)

Losting in the Wilderness

*haix.. There are many things i am supposed to do yet the feeling of unwillingness always sets in. I am thinking i really should go up the mountain and train like my fellow brothers so that i could do well this semester. I can say i am willing to listen right now but after that where do i go from there?

I was glad to hear from a fren who accidentally stumbled on my blog, a simple "Hi" really made my day. Still looking for my direction in life, i made a decision to enter teaching, although weather i will get the job is another thing, as i have already failed the AEO interview, Toshiba and probably many more to come. I really need to grow up yet i can't see a reason to be a otono.

Why am i so determined on this? --- I have no answer.. yet life still goes on.

I met with my prof today when i was walking along the alleyway, he smiled cause probably he forgot that i was his FYP student, luckily he looked younger, with his hair dyed, probably it is due to the fact that i gave him peace for the last 6mths by not disturbing him with anything. Maybe ah tai knew this too, cause i was going to ask very lame questions about my FYP that one should already know. I am after all a very "FU QIAN" person but very very thankful for all the buddies that i have who walked this path together with me, and i know, they will definately help mi.

Suppressed feelings make mi feel incomplete. REVENGE is probably still no.1 on my list. I am waiting for the day when i can survive on my own, but it seems that i never will as i am forever dependend on the people around me. Blessed? Yes i am. Arigatou everybody..

Another Motor Accident

I am Cursed.. I hate school.. For some reason another, i keep getting into accident @ School. NTU is a damn scary place for me. Zzzz. i dun want to ride anymore.. I would rather take the MRT. *Haiz.

Almost got killed (although jimmy said we wun die from a car reversing into us) just now [8.30am 12 Jan 2009] at the mechanical block N3.2 when a guy reversed into me. I already stop and he did not check his back mirror for people. Upon ramming into me, he did not press the brake but instead pressed the accelerator. zzzz Newbie Driver? Worst of all, i think it was a lecturer who rammed me down. Luckily Jimmy jumped off the bike with his lightning reflexes [probably people who are thin are better in evasion manuevers] and he did not sustain any injury. I on the other hand, screamed 1 sec and fell together with the bike. Jimmy tried to save me but how can Mighty Mouse save an elephant + Bike? zzz

No one sustained any injury, only my bike which was dead ( could not start) and his car with the scratches i gave to his back bumper ( bumper lei.. i was on the floor and he rammed further in.. zzz. nutcase.. aka NYC type of driving? LOL) I got a serious case of shock - my hands shooked like mad.. as it was the 1st time i had a real accident involving a car and not oneself, road condition etc. I was stationary and did not press the horn when he reversed, he on the other hadn hated motorcycles? I could have spewed blood and it reall----y tramatised me; Jimmy knew that and bought me food, my only comfort - as i chomped down macdonals breakfast remmeber the deadly encounter. I could have sworn seeing my life flashed before my very eyes..

Whatever it is, i am very grateful to jimmy for being there with me, otherwise it could have been worse. To me, it is all fated as i took an enroute due to the JAM at the circle, thus i went by south spine to the mechanical block. I was glad that Jimmy got his booking otherwise i will be very very remoseful to him as i promised him that i will bring him to school early. I need to buck up on my experience level. More training = more fuel = more $$ spent. Meanwhile, i will like to abstain from vehicles, and go by the CHINA way; WALK. :)

i love you Daddy, Mommy. kor kor, Chu` and PoPo, ah ma, ah gong blah Blah etc mina san~.. i will try valu-ing my life. TRY.. keke..
