NS is a Time where u are used as cheap labour, while protecting ur COUNTRY!

yeah.. finally home quite early, a little after midnight..

todae i was tools again. so so scary sia.. tot i would kena the same thing as dongli or another 7extras.. CX like siao kia & this time, i confirm i did a good job.

while i was taking a cab home, the uncle raised a very very interesting topic. He was saying that in the Police force, NS was also little pay and lots of work. I started wondering if it was the same all accross the island.

FACT:
1)In NS, NSF are supposed to work as much as the regulars, but we get an allowance, while they get pay.
2) NSF are better scapegoats. for a regular, if u are to get charge, everthing is gone. As for the NSF, a charge means u get to watch 7 lesser movies (SGD $50 fine)
3) If u wan as much pay but doing the same shit, SIGN ON.

With Such aspects, many, and i do mean MANY people still reject the offer. WHY?

REASON: "(-_-)"-- NO comment..

But there are good things to it also. For an example, a fren of mine recently found many interesting Defects thus allowing him to obtain LOC(letter of Commendation) -- which actually means an extra 50 bucks in ur account. he already got 3 of those plus the best service man. BEst of all, he is a NSF. Kool huh..

TO make life simpler and more "forward looking" we have no choice but think of it as : "I REALLY LOVE MY COUNTRY AND I AM READY TO PROTECT MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS EVEN IF I HAVE TO DIE FIGHTING"

Yeah Yeah.. i noe.. sounds so CARTOON right.. At least i TRIED.. REALLY.. TRIED!!
