Yeah!! Finally can blog again! I lost my second piece of my memory card reader. And once again, kor kor saved me! even from far far away. Luckily he always got back up. Hehe..
Between my airforce friends and my buddies, i choose to go out with my buddies, kinda owe them.. SO our trip was cycling at East Coast Park! Before i begin, i would like to pay tribute to the RJC person who died after doing the triathelon. I really respect all these kids and adults who do this cause not only to do have great will-power, but also physically powerful. Especially the kids, so scary to see a young boy having six pecs. So very scary but kool. I shall use photos to bring you through our trip. Enjoy!

Pit Stop 3: A Beautiful Viewing Tower. Some where near the Osim Triathelon Tent. So many girls up here too.. hehe.. but mooky and ah tai didn't want to cycle up so i went up and enjoy the "view" alone.

Just passing by.. a place where people go-cart. Nice of my hands.. didn't shake when i was cycling and taking photos at the same time. keke..

Pit Stop 3.5: Hmm tough decision by leader mook--> To go ECP or Changi Village? heehehe.. isn't it obvious :P

Pit Stop 6.5: On our way back, passed by a few places of interest. (a) Some sailing clubs. Kids nowadays are so amazing. Sailing and keeping thier boats alone. Like X 3 of their size. And the next photo, outward bound school. i think.. unless i remmebered wrongly..

After Finishing our ride, we decided to go to the market for dinner, at parkway parade, or actually marine parade? LOL. THe symbol for Marine parade is Seals i think.. Sorry if i got it wrong. I am a "TOOT" afterall.. as for the fountain, it stinks like hell, wonder how people can eat at the place with longkang fountain.
AND FINALLY........... FOOD~~~~!!!!!
Ah tai recommended the beef "chor bee hoon" although he doesn't eat cow. It is suberb nice though. Sauce is great and beef stuff is nice. Highly recommended for people who like cow. Stall name is Seremban Beef noodles.
After that we shared a plate of their Char kway teow. It is the wet kind with lots of eggs..Yummy.. they even have pork lard! Though i think i should really cut down on such stuff before it kills me. BTW, i have high blood pressure.. so thanks to ah tai for stopping me eat the lard. Maybe my memory is bad due to the fatty stuff. :P

TopiC: The Future of our Childern. Is the society turning kids into brats or is the parents spoiling them?
Rantings: After our trip at east coast, we decided to talk more about our subject registration stuff, so we headed to pacific coffee to use the PC for net surfing. They had this rule of 15 minutes per person and "patrons please purchase your drinks prior to using the computer". Although i may be infringing rights, i still have to say this: Kids nowadays have no respect for adults and they take everything for granted. Just like the photo, these four kids were pushing ah tai off his seat and even doing countdown at the cafe! If i wanted, i could have screwed them saying they didn't patronise Pacific Coffee so they can't use. Yet mostly likely i would be scolded by their parents, just like the case of the NIE auntie.
The older times has taught us well, yet in this age, parents have become over-protective of their children, allowing them to do things that are so ****. Take school for example; the teachings of LOVE? Kaput.. Kids are now cutting queues, stealing stuff and they think they are right! Maybe.. Juz for another example, yesterday i was watching "Te Xie" on channel 8 about Superkids, how one kid has super memory and the other kid has exceptional maths ability. Sincerly speaking, my cousin could do all of that to. 2 bcome 1. But if they hit a wall, they are going to fall so bad that GOD knows what will happen. In the show the boy has helping his father count money and he counted wrongly. His father made a comment about his calculation and he said "WHATEVER". i think, some bo chap comment. See? Kids think adults are stupid. You have to use calculator while i use my brains Psyche!~
As for me, i sure hope the best for my kids, but whatever path they take, it is entirely up to them. after the age of 3, i'm sure they can think for themselves, but they cannot differentiate right and wrong, that is where parents, teachers and people of the society should help educate our future generations for them to become some use for our Society.
